How these pages are written
Choosing a deck partner means comparing services that all describe themselves the same way. These pages are our attempt to do that honestly, knowing we build one of the services on them.
Every comparison follows the same four rules.
The team behind Slidecore has been designing business and investor decks for more than ten years, with 500+ decks shipped and 100+ teams served.
- 1We name where the other service is better, in its own section and in the summary table. Some of the options on this page beat Slidecore for particular teams, and the page says so.
- 2Verdicts belong to a section. There is no overall winner line, because no service wins everything, ours included.
- 3Competitor facts carry the date we checked them at the source, and we re-verify quarterly.
- 4We cite our own clients only where they have given permission for the reference. Where we mention a client type without naming them, for example a Fortune 500 pharma company, it is because permission for the specific name has not been extended to comparison pages.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. A monthly subscription that scales by slide volume and commitment length. Pricing starts at $2,500 per month for 25 slides on a monthly plan, and drops to about $2,000 per month at the same volume on an annual commit. There is no per-project quote and no separate design system fee. Senior designers work on the account, build a design system for the brand, and maintain it across every deck.
We re-verify competitor pricing and facts quarterly, and revise a page whenever a competitor ships something that changes the answer. Every comparison shows the date it was last updated and the date its competitor facts were checked at the source.
It depends on how many decks the team ships. A company that produces one board deck a quarter and a couple of launch decks a year is often better served by a premium agency for the strategic work and freelancers for the rest. A company that ships board decks, monthly investor updates, sales decks per prospect and quarterly all-hands is closer to Slidecore's shape. The individual comparison pages say which end each competitor falls on.
The monthly plan has no minimum term. If the working relationship does not fit the team, the plan ends at month end. Longer commitments carry a discount (10% off at six months, 20% off at twelve), and if a longer plan is not right, the monthly plan runs at the same standard of service.
Not blindly. That is why every page concedes real wins to the other product, gives a verdict per section rather than an overall winner line, and prints the date each competitor fact was checked. Read the pages and check the claims against the vendors' own documentation.
Slidecore's designers work on decks: board, sales, investor, executive, keynote and report decks in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, Figma Slides and Canva. Social graphics, ads, banners, full brand identity work and product design sit outside the subscription. If your primary need is general marketing design across many surfaces, the generalist subscriptions on this page are the closer match.
